Linkage Trust Webhealth is a community organisation providing free, professional and confidential support and information services. Linkage Trust was established in Hamilton in 1998. Webhealth was developed in 2003/4 to enhance community accessibility to self assistance relating to health and well-being.
Linkage Trust Webhealth is in the process of developing and implementing localised regional websites that connect at a national level.
Vision: The Pre-eminent Linkage Facilitator in New Zealand.
Purpose: To facilitate trusted Linkages between individuals, providers and communities that contribute to positive health and well being outcomes for the community.

1. General Terms and Conditions
1.1. http://www.webhealth.co.nz is owned and operated by Linkage Trust Hamilton New Zealand and is designed for community participation.
1.2. Linkage Trust Webhealth (and our content providers) hold proprietary and intellectual property rights on this site. Linkage Trust Webhealth permits you to view, copy, print material from this website, as long as the material is used for your personal and non-commercial use. You may not, in any form or by any means:1.2.1. Adapt, reproduce, store, distribute, transmit, display, perform, publish or create derivative works from any part of this Website; or1.3. There is no charge for users of the website, including registering Service Provider details. There may however be costs associated with accessing services provided by a Health or Social Service Provider registered on the website.
1.2.2. Commercialise any information or content obtained from any part of this Website without our written permission.
1.4. Linkage Trust Webhealth does not take responsibility for the actions of the users of Linkage Trust Webhealth that are not employed by Linkage Trust.
1.5. Linkage Trust Webhealth works within the realms of the Privacy Act 1991, Health & Disability Commission Code of Rights, Human Rights Act 1993.
1.6. Confidentiality of personal information relating to individual identity is respected by this website as per the Privacy Act 1993.
2. Technical Terms and Conditions
2.1. Linkage Trust Webhealth under no circumstances releases email addresses for promotional purposes to external entities (e.g, spam, junk mail)
2.2. The user assumes full responsibility for the protection of their computer system from viruses, worms, or other potentially destructive programmes.
2.3. Any information collected through cookies and site statistics by Linkage Trust Webhealth is solely used for the following purposes only: research and evaluation of site development and to distinguish common trends and themes for community development purposes. All information is non-identifiable.
3. Online Chat and Ask Webhealth Email Enquiries Terms and Conditions
3.1. People seeking health and social service information through Online Chat Assistance or the Ask Webhealth email address are expected to use the service in good faith. This means you will use respectful language, honesty and integrity when using the Online Chat Assistance service.
3.2. Use of Online Chat Assistance or the Ask Webhealth email address is not recommended for people in crisis or people feeling suicidal or at risk of self-harm. If this is you please call the Crisis Assessment Team on 0800 50 50 50 or Lifeline on 0800 543 354.
3.3. Online Chat Assistance or the Ask Webhealth email service is only available for people located in the Waikato DHB region.
3.4. Linkage Trust Webhealth may keep transcripts of Online Chat Assistance or copies of emails sent to the Ask Webhealth email address.
3.5. Online Chat Assistance or the Ask Webhealth email address provide another form of access to Health and Social Services in the Waikato region through the opportunity for people to discuss issues directly with Linkage Trust Webhealth Staff.
3.6. This is not an online counselling service or an avenue for meeting people but rather replicates the face-to-face services that Linkage Trust Webhealth offers. Face-to-face appointments with Service Navigators can be arranged at any time.
3.7. Linkage Trust Webhealth assures that any personal information will not be given to any third party unless written consent is given. The only instance where confidentiality may be broken is when we know you are at risk of harm to self or others. In this instance we will first make every effort to discuss this with you directly.
3.8. Linkage Trust Webhealth guarantees a response commitment time of three days for Online Chat Assistance and two days for Ask Webhealth emails during the working week. This means there is no weekend responding.
3.9. Before anyone enters in to any ongoing discussions via Online Chat Assistance you can expect an initial discussion outlining what you can expect.
4. Service Provider Directory Terms and Conditions
4.1. While Linkage Trust Webhealth has taken care to ensure that information submitted by Health and Social Service Providers is accurate at the time of registration, we strongly encourage site users to check for currency of memberships and licence to practice.
4.2. Linkage Trust Webhealth functions on community ownership. It is the responsibility of Service Providers to maintain their details. Linkage Trust Webhealth is only as current as the information supplied.
4.3. Any changes service providers make to their details will be approved before being made live again for public viewing. Webhealth reserves the right to make any changes to Provider profiles to: ensure relevancy; ease of readability; and is in line with profile guidelines.
4.4. Linkage Trust Webhealth holds the right to verify information submitted to the website by the community. This includes verifying accreditations, qualifications and association memberships. If Linkage Trust Webhealth can not acquire this information directly we may come back to you asking that you supply verification directly to Linkage Trust Webhealth.
4.5. Linkage Trust Webhealth guarantees a response commitment time of 6 working days, excluding public holidays, regarding registration applications. A response time of 3 days is guaranteed for notices posted on the Community Noticeboard.
4.6. Linkage Trust Webhealth is not liable for treatment procedures of any provider of services listed in the Linkage Trust Webhealth directory.
4.7. Linkage Trust Webhealth reserves the right to decline any service provider who does not meet the Linkage Trust Webhealth criteria for registration or abide by Linkage Trust Webhealth terms and conditions.
4.8. Linkage Trust Webhealth defines Health and Social Service delivery as: any individual practitioner or organisation that assists people in improving their health and wellbeing.
4.9. The criteria for Health and Social Service Providers to register their details on Linkage Trust Webhealth is defined as: those working within the voluntary sector, NGO sector, and Government agencies at a local and national level. Examples of services accepted include counsellors, GPs, Iwi service providers, education providers, family support services, natural therapists, dentists, mental health professionals and law centres. Some examples of services that may not fit are cosmetic services that primarily generate personal profit or those whose practice may be known in the community to be unsafe or questionable.4.10. Linkage Trust reserves the right to make contact with providers registered on Webhealth as and when required.
