Linkage Webhealth Representative Canterbury
2009 - Current

My key role
To promote Webhealth as an accessible site with fantastic health and social service information to the general public and health professionals.
With a key goal being to help organisations connect with the community to promote wellbeing and healthy lifestyle options.

My experience
I have a strong background in the Financial Services industry. My responsibilities have included team leadership and banking consultancy in the area of risk, liabilities and assets. I specialised in Business Development, particularly in mediation in the area of funding. Synonymous with my Webhealth role this meant presenting and consulting to professionals, community groups and individuals, often in the form of sponsorship.

I have been very fortunate to work with talented professionals within highly respected international businesses, such as IBM and AMP. I have a strong belief in reaching targets by mentoring. Consequently I have a high regard for processes and procedures, which provide discipline and a safety net to complement creativity and natural talent.

I am excited about my Linkage Webhealth representative role as I am passionate about service. Community wellbeing is of great value to me as I believe in helping and informing.  I have recently formalised this passion by studying at University in adult teaching. For over twenty years I have practised as a support coach by correspondence in Asia Pacific, often with prisoners through a non profit charity.

I enjoy interacting with a variety of people and implementing  Webhealth’s vision in promoting health and wellbeing in the Canterbury Community.

What inspires me
Hard work and discipline, humble leaders who create opportunities for others. People who often do not see the benefits of their work in their life time. Sport heroes with disabilities who train hard and pick themselves up after multiple knocks
