My Key Roles
I am responsible for the Webhealth service throughout the regions and supporting the staff to make sure they have the resources they need to do their work effectively.  I will be working on identifying gaps in health and social needs in the community sector with a view to developing new services to fill those gaps.

My Experience
I come from a community background where I managed Te Whare Kokonga (a community house) for 7 years, developing initiatives to support community well-being.  I have strong links with the Melville community network and links across the city covering health, employment, advocacy, housing etc.  I am a Justice of the Peace and I have a M.Soc.Sc in Sociology.

My inspiration
I am driven by a compulsion to relieve disadvantage by creating the means for people to improve their own lives.  I am inspired by people who achieve against all the odds and by communities that stand together to achieve a common goal.
