My key roles
At Linkage Trust there is a diverse range of services. These are located across the country with the central office based in Hamilton. These make my roles of clinical leadership, quality & risk, and management varied and exciting. The responsibility of applying these to web-based services adds further exciting challenges to my role given my interest in clinical technology.

My experience
I have been in the mental health sector for many years now. I am a Registered Psychiatric Nurse, with an Advanced Diploma in Nursing and I am a graduate of the Executive Leadership & Management Programme. I have enjoyed a variety of clinical roles which has included working in the community, with pharmaceuticals, technology, and line management.

What inspires me
The move from hospital based services into the primary mental health field holds the promise of new experiences and the challenge of working with different people. This supports my goal to focus less on what we do and more how we are doing what we do. The opportunity to work in the Primary Mental Health Sector has opened up a new range of opportunities and relationships that I am finding very exciting as well as challenging. Overall I believe in “ease of access” to service to be the most important aspect affecting the quality of our service and the reason most people prefer our Service Navigation service.
